About
I work with families who want this done right.
I'm Brendan Cahill. For more than a decade I've guided scholar-athletes into the most academically selective football programs in the country — Ivy League, NESCAC, Patriot League, and the DIII programs where the academic standard is just as serious.
Background
In 2012 I started taking on a handful of families a year. The work was meant to be modest. Then word moved through high school coaching staffs, college coaching staffs, and parent networks — and it became a practice.
Today I work with a deliberately small number of families at a time. That is the only way the work stays honest.
What I believe
Outcomes, not activity.
Camps attended and emails sent are not the point. The point is an offer from a school where your son will thrive for four years and beyond.
Honesty saves years.
If a tier isn't realistic, I'll say so in our first conversation. The families who get the best outcomes are the ones who heard the truth early.
Small practice on purpose.
I take on a limited number of families a year. The work is judgment, attention, and follow-through — none of which scales.
Process, not performance.
Recruiting rewards families who execute a calm, consistent process over eighteen months. I keep that process moving when it would otherwise drift.
A coach
“Brendan is the person I trust to tell a family the truth about where their son actually stands — and then to help them do something about it.”
